We were delighted to see today that two restaurants we’re very much proud of at 383 project have been featured in a Guardian top 10 list of restaurants in Birmingham. The icing on the cake was that Urban Pie (which we designed and have since produced all on and offline marketing for) was placed at number one. A big well done goes to the guys at both Handmade Burger Co and Urban Pie who make the food (which is obviously key!), but we’re sure the design helped a bit!

As an aside, a brand new Urban Pie has just opened this week in Leicester, so pop along to Highcross if you’re in the area.

We’ve just designed a batch of tees for Urban Pie. Since Urban Pie opened in Birmingham it’s become really popular and there’ll soon be another store opening in Leicester. The tees will be worn by staff and also be made available for purchase online.

This weekend I got the chance to check out a new restaurant we designed at Brindleyplace in Birmingham. MASH HOUSE is a new sausage and mash venture and provides good honest grub (that I can vouch for first hand) with a relaxed atmosphere.

383 Project created the entire brand for Mash House, creating the logo, designing the interior and producing the artwork and illustrations for the walls. This was a really fun project to work on and we’re really pleased with how the restaurants turned out.

Yesterday was our last day in the office before Christmas. I snapped a few shots on my phone throughout the day so click below if you’re interested in the office antics!

The day starts with an inter-office x-box tournament….

Lunchtime kicks off with a homemade Indian. Thanks Mrs. Bhurji…

During the night the Christmas ‘Gnome’ had bought everyone presents. Sunny got some sort of man bag…

Paul got a retro Japanese golf game. Very cool…

Sukhi gets a Tude Beam

Leon can now put his typography skills to the test with a Calligraphy kit and annoy us all with a Harmonica. Great.

So that I’ve got a good shot at dislocating my shoulder again I got a gadget that will fling your wrist around.

Then it was off to the German market for a beer…

In the evening we pigged out eating Chinese. Nice hats!

And then finally we all went for a quick drink. (there’s actually 9 ‘people’ in the piccy if you include the two who are due to arrive in January and March!).
