Brief/ The Direct Marketing Commission is the independent self-regulatory body for the UKs direct marketing industry. 383 Project were commissioned to design and build a new website for the organisation to communicate the mission and function of the DMC. The site needed to facilitate quick and simple complaints submission for the key audiences and provide the DMC with a quick and easy way of disseminating news, case studies and points of interest to consumers and the wider industry.
Outcomes/ The new DMC site was developed with a full CMS to enable quick and easy updates to the site. This enabled the DMC’s core offer to be communicated more clearly to consumers, and importantly to be timely and responsive to changes in law and regulatory rules. The site streamlined the complaints process by adding an online complaints channel and ensured the DMC’s core function could be improved upon and expanded.
