We’re a nimble team of talented thinkers and doers. Our clients choose us because as well as being great strategists we’re also enthusiastic hobbyists who live, breathe and love creative and digital.
Simplifying a complicated blend of advertising and digital under one roof. We exist to solve complex problems, creating clever big ideas which live across different channels. We also have fun doing it.

We began life in the early 00′s when the agency landscape was fragmented and ‘digital’ was a peripheral discipline for most advertising agencies.
For us, a digital approach was in our blood from day one. And as the landscape shifted toward a digital focus for all disciplines we found our new agency model slap bang in the middle of what clients were after.
Not for vanity, but for reassurance that we do things (really) well.

Consumers are ever changing and in a complicated space we aim to be a positive part of the equation.
Our strength lies in knowing who we are, and who we aren’t. We’re a medium size agency and can balance being nimble and pro-active with the capacity to handle large campaigns for global brands. We apply new thinking and technologies before others have the chance to catch up. We aren’t (and don’t aspire to be) a ‘mega agency’. We won’t blind you with buzzwords, we won’t hand you over to a new team once we’ve won the work and we’ll play nice with other agencies.
We rest comfortably in the sweet spot between an advertising agency and digital agency. Here’s some of the disciplines that embody what that means;
We’re privileged to work with a number of the world’s top consumer brands, providing creative thinking and doing on both a national and international level.

Here’s what some of the clients above told the Recommended Agency Register about how it was to work with us last year. No clients were harmed in collecting these quotes.

Day to day we have a mix of account and creative heads, but there’s no sense of departments or disconnect. We all work in an open plan studio, and everyone’s ideas and opinions are valued. There’s a shared ownership over campaigns and a genuine enthusiasm to see them succeed.
‘Work hard and be nice to people’ is more than just a poster in our studio…
It’s a snapshot of the culture internally and how we’re known externally. We like collaboration in our team and believe more in skills than job titles. This approach means that as well as being great thinkers, we add team members who are both happy to learn and arrive ego-free.
Competition for talent is fierce and to ensure that people want to stay with us long term we’ve created a culture that challenges and rewards those who choose to stay around.
Send us your CV and we'll let you know if a suitable vacancy comes up.

Based in a stunning studio in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery quarter, we help our clients to create meaningful reasons for people to love brands. These reasons deliver tangible and often award-winning results.
With our client list growing rapidly, we’re looking for a talented (and occasionally geeky) project manager to join our team. You will co-ordinate projects and resources to ensure that our award winning work is delivered on time and within budget. Working to help shape the creative, technical and strategic direction of projects, you will create and maintain project plans ensuring that both internal and external teams are kept up to date.
Previous experience with working on complex digital projects, a project management qualification and a minimum of one years experience with an interactive agency are preferred. Naturally you’ll live digital and breathe creativity, a passion for both is crucial.

383 Project are looking for a talented PHP developer to join our ever growing team. You’ll be part of a team who strive for perfection, delivering results that exceed client expectations and are more importantly delivered on time.
You won’t shy away from coming up with new ideas and will work well in a team consisting of designers, strategists and front end developers.
We’re after an enthusiastic individual who enjoys building their own projects (examples will be required) and can talk passionately about their work and career goals. For the interview process we require all candidates to create a simple Facebook application that does something interesting with a status update and image of a user.
Ideally you’ll have at least 3 years experience in an agency and will have a Computer Science, or Multimedia based degree or qualification. Whilst not essential, a knowledge of ActionScript 3 or Objective C would make you stand out from the crowd.
We work mainly with WordPress, CodeIgniter and our own custom built Facebook framework, so a good understanding of OOP practices is a must, aswell as experience building on the Facebook platform.
Working as part of a team means that you will often be working with another developer on the same project so a working knowledge of GIT (and SVN for some of our older projects) is essential.
As well as being a pro with PHP, you’ll also need to have command line knowledge, knowing your way around at least Ubuntu, CentOS and RedHat and have the ability to set up a server from scratch. Not critical, but desirable is a working knowledge of Amazon Web Services, notably EC2 and S3. With regards to databases, we use MySQL and MongoDB and run our sites on either Apache or nginx. You should be able to configure Apache at least, whilst nginx would be a bonus.
We build highly scalable apps for some well known global brands, so being able to use memcache, ec2, and varnish together to ensure high availability is something you should have experience in.
Whilst we have front end developers at 383 Project who will take care of turning a PSD into standards compliant markup, you should have expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript and well as being able to edit PSDs.
